Our grooming department at Pensacola Pet Resort, Too, is a hub of expertise and enthusiasm, thanks to our talented and experienced professionals. Each team member brings a unique skill set and a genuine love for animals, ensuring your pet’s grooming experience is exceptional and personalized.
Lorie has been a cornerstone of our grooming team since 2004, but her journey began in 1985. With a deep-seated love for dogs of all shapes and sizes, Lorie’s expertise is evident in every grooming session. Her pack, ranging from a tiny Yorkie to a grand Newfoundland, reflects her versatile grooming skills. Lorie indulges in furniture painting and retail therapy when she’s not making pups look fabulous. She’s also a dedicated Ohio State fan—go Buckeyes!
Shelby joined us in the fall of 2021, bringing over two years of grooming experience with her. Shelby thrives on each day’s creative challenges, allowing her artistic touch to shine in her haircuts. Outside of the salon, Shelby is a performer in circus arts, demonstrating her flair for creativity and precision.
Laura is newer to professional dog grooming but brings a heartfelt approach to her work, inspired by her childhood dog, Gurtie. Her grooming style is influenced by her mentor, Lorie, who ensures every dog receives a quality, familiar touch. Laura’s passions include attending concerts, getting tattooed, and spending time with her dogs, Hamlet and Penelope.
April has been grooming dogs since the late 1980s, learning the craft from her mother. Her extensive experience makes her a valuable asset to our team, and she has been with us since December 2023. April’s deep-rooted knowledge and love for dogs shine through in her meticulous grooming.
Charnavia has been a dedicated grooming assistant since the Summer of 2022. She’s especially fond of Dobermans but enjoys working with all breeds. Charnavia is currently searching for her dog to add to her family, but in the meantime, she ensures that every pet in our care receives top priority and attention. Her interests outside of work include gymnastics and softball.
